Nine-year old's heartfelt effort raises $4,000 for homeless veterans in Pennsylvania

A Pennsylvania third grader is doing her part for the season of giving raising $4,000 for veterans who are homeless.


9-year-old Hailey Hackenburg went to area restaurants and events asking people for donations for Veterans Outreach of PA.


Hailey and her father, Devin, who's also a veteran, toured Veteran's Grove to present the donations.


Hailey says, "It gets really cold out in winter and it might be really hard on people who don't have the privilege to live in a warm, safe home."
