Board Member

Deborah Donahue brings over 13 years of experience in the non-profit sector while serving as the Executive Director of Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties. Upon retirement from the agency in 2011, she was appointed by former Governor Tom Corbett as the Director of Finance and Budget for the Office of Developmental Programs in the Department of Human Services. As of 2016, she has been employed as an Adjunct Professor at Central Penn College in the Academic Program of Business and Professional Studies.

Her past professional experience includes employment with a major bank in New York City serving as the facilities director for their Data Center. Deborah also has worked in commercial development as Vice President of Vartan Enterprises and was responsible for new site development and construction.

She has served community organizations by volunteering her time that support the homeless, children in foster care, and victims of domestic violence.

Deborah’s family has a history of serving in the armed forces. Her grandfather was in the Army during WWII and killed in combat. Her father was in the Navy Reserves and your uncle served in the Marines.

Deborah holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Elizabethtown College, an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Law Degree from Widener Commonwealth Law School.
